Job summary

A diverse manufacturing company in North Dallas is seeking an Accountant of SEC Reporting to oversee financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will prepare internal and external financial reports, ensure compliance with SEC requirements, and manage general ledger responsibilities. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a competitive salary of 90K-100K+, plus bonus potential. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and preferably have experience in public accounting or financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• CPA certification or eligibility preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare external financial reports including quarterly and annual filings.
• Collaborate with subsidiary finance teams for data collection.
• Maintain internal control processes and documentation.
• Aid in internal and external audit processes.
• Prepare monthly journal entries related to various accounts.
• Manage intercompany billing related to corporate expenses.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Upload trial balances into financial consolidation system.
