Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 2 for a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You’ll join the Marketing Content Orchestration team to modernize content delivery across campaigns, using AI-powered workflows and integrations with AEM, Sanity, and DCO platforms.

You’ll contribute to feature development, APIs, and in-house apps, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and delivery. Prior experience with Go or Java and AI tools is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Experience with Go or Java (we are happy to teach the other).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable ability to think critically and to solve problems.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in professional or personal settings.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the development of new features and system improvements in an agile environment.
• Build and maintain APIs and services that move content and assets between content management, asset management, and campaign delivery platforms.
• Work with platforms such as AEM, Sanity, and a DCO platform, and build the in-house applications that connect them.
• Orchestrate AI agents and contribute to automation and agentic workflows that reduce manual effort for marketers.
• Participate in code review and our agent-driven delivery process, including verifying AI-generated code.
• Own your features across every stage of delivery, with a focus on quality.
• Deliver results.
