Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking a Separations Artist in Tampa to prepare, correct, and optimize production-ready color separations for licensed apparel and related products. You will ensure artwork meets print method, licensor guidelines, and brand standards while maintaining accuracy and efficiency for high-volume seasonal programs.

You will collaborate across Production Art, Manufacturing Art, Sampling, and vendor teams to troubleshoot challenges, meet SLA and deadlines, and maintain consistency

Qualifications

• 3+ years in color separations for apparel or related print manufacturing.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of screen-print production, inks, trapping, halftones, and fabric considerations.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced production environments.
• Attention to detail with strong quality control instincts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and finalize color separations for screen print, digital, and specialty methods.
• Ensure separations adhere to brand standards and licensor guidelines.
• Prepare production-ready files with correct line weights, trapping, underbases, overprints, and halftones.
• Review artwork for risks and flag printability or color count issues.
• Collaborate with Production Art, Manufacturing Art, Sampling, and vendors to troubleshoot challenges.
• Support sampling, pre-production, and bulk production timelines to meet deadlines.
• Maintain consistency across multiple styles, SKUs, and seasonal refreshes.
• Update separations based on revisions or licensor feedback.
