Job summary

Olberding Brand Family, headquartered in Cincinnati, is seeking a Production Retoucher to prepare press-ready digital files for offset, gravure, and flexo printing. You will handle color separations, clipping paths, color conversions, and trapping to ensure client specifications are met.

The role requires 2-3 years in packaging graphics prepress and proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat, along with knowledge of major printing methods.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in packaging graphics prepress.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat.
• Deep understanding of major printing methods (Flexo, Gravure, Offset).

Responsibilities

• Work on CPG client jobs creating final press ready art images (trapping, color separations, screening specs, curves).
• Color correct images to match client supplied targets.
• Verify final files meet client’s graphic and printer specifications.
• Evaluate images for print process (minimum dots, highlight pushes, contaminating colors).
• Maintain an effective workflow from artwork scheduling to proof stage.
