Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. seeks an early-career Science Copywriter to shape how complex science is communicated globally. You will edit, write, and manage projects across brochures, case studies, emails, and web content while ensuring scientific accuracy and on-brand messaging.

You’ll review material with stakeholders, route through regulatory review, and contribute to Bio-Rad’s style guide. This hybrid role is based at Hercules, CA, with some remote work possibilities and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences and/or Marketing.
• 1–3 years editing, copywriting, or technical writing experience in science, healthcare, technology, or marketing.
• Strong command of written English and basic life science principles; curiosity about diagnostics and the science behind products.
• Experience with an editorial style guide (AMA, Chicago, AP, or internal).
• Self-directed with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit marketing and technical copy for clarity, accuracy, and audience while preserving voice.
• Balance editing, writing, and project management across channels and asset types.
• Verify claims, specifications, and scientific statements against source materials.
• Create concepts for campaigns and tradeshows; collateral like brochures, emails, web content, and presentations.
• Route materials through regulatory review and coordinate cross-functional reviews.
• Develop content across multiple assets and ensure messaging is on-brand.
