Job summary

Soliant Health in Tyler, TX is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time, on-site contract through the end of May, with a potential hybrid option based on experience. You will collaborate with teams across several school buildings to support students' growth and well-being.

Responsibilities include assessments, counseling, IEP participation, crisis intervention, and liaison with families and staff to implement effective interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for Texas certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in school settings strongly preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to students, teachers, and families.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working across multiple buildings and adapting to varying school cultures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students with behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and help shape educational programs tailored to student needs.
• Offer crisis intervention as required and promote positive behavioral supports throughout the school community.
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
• Contribute expertise across multiple school buildings and foster strong professional relationships.
