Job summary

A background with Eaton SMP Gateways and SCADA systems, plus familiarity with NERC CIP requirements, is valuable. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence about 1 day per week and flexible to business needs.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 3 years of working with SCADA or other Process Control System in the Power Generation Industry
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of operating systems and/or network administration
• Knowledge of SCADA-related NERC CIP requirements in the ODN and CM remediation
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Eaton HMI displays and test devices with BA (EMS & ADMS)
• Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Substation RTU commissioning with ADMS & EMS
• T&D SCADA Apparatus O&M Tier 1 support
• Substation Monitoring Tier 1 Support and maintain monitoring software
• Cyber security apparatus support
• Collaborate with internal and external customers/clients
• Plan actions to address issues; define scope and tasks to achieve goals
• Work with limited supervision and as part of a team
• Apply engineering principles for cost-effective solutions
• Complete multiple projects concurrently
