Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Hybrid SATCOM Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership and engineering oversight for the C3HST Program. You will be the senior technical authority for system architecture, technical baseline, and lifecycle execution of advanced Hybrid SATCOM capabilities for DoD customers.

You will lead an integrated engineering team across AoA, requirements, prototyping, LRIP, production, fielding, and modernization, ensuring secure, resilient, MOSA-compliant

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant DoD or national security engineering experience.
• Experience as Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, or Technical Director.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and partners.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Willingness to travel to support customer and program activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for the C3HST program and define system architecture and technical baseline.
• Lead systems engineering across AoA, requirements, prototyping, LRIP, production, and sustainment.
• Develop MOSA-compliant Hybrid SATCOM architectures with SOSA/OpenVPX/FACE/CMOSS.
• Chair technical reviews and manage risk, interfaces, and engineering quality.
• Interface with government customers, subcontractors, OEMs, and industry partners.
