Job summary

National Grid seeks a Senior Analyst, SAP Security and Controls to support SAP security, access management and SOX controls across US ERP Security. The role collaborates with Finance Technology Enablement and Business Operations Systems Support, coordinating user access, audits and remediation efforts from offices in Brooklyn, Waltham or Syracuse.

The candidate will manage non-SAP access, drive control testing and work with auditors and business teams to deliver compliant security programs.

Qualifications

• Practical controls experience in control operation, risk and controls, audit readiness.
• Practical SAP experience in security, access management, or similar roles.
• Minimum of 5+ years SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) controls experience.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP roles, authorisations, and risk mitigation.
• Experience supporting access for non-SAP enterprise applications and transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP security and authorisation environment, including user administration and access reviews.
• Administer SAP GRC or equivalent access processes, including provisioning and periodic reviews.
• Investigate and resolve access issues and security incidents; assess SOD and critical access risks.
• Execute SOX and ITGC controls with auditable evidence.
• Support control testing, audits, and remediation efforts.
• Analyze data to identify exceptions and provide clear management reporting.
• Administer access for non-SAP finance and business applications with proper records.
• Represent SAP Security on projects, align requirements and testing with go-live readiness.
• Collaborate with global teams, auditors, and third-party providers to ensure consistent outcomes.
