Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Project Resource and Outage Support (PROS) professional to support small capital projects (<$5M) across North America. The role involves strategic planning, turnaround preparation, and outage execution for Hydrogen and ASU facilities, with hybrid work options.

You will manage SAP projects, cost reporting, asset disposals, and provide training and support to project teams, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SAP.
• Strong understanding of all Microsoft applications.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Basic understand of accounting principles.
• Role model within Project Engineering function.
• High ethical standards - worker safety & regulatory compliance.
• Organizational credibility - influence managers in decision making.
• 5-15 years' experience in plant projects.
• Obtain TWIC, passport and pass refinery background checks.

Responsibilities

• Create assigned SAP project, route Capital Project Request, and monitor for approval.
• Submit Capitalizations as directed on monthly WIP report and provide status updates.
• Submit Capital Asset Disposal Requests and monitor for approval.
• Create capital project cost reports as directed.
• Close SAP project structures as directed.
• Work with project accounting and accounts payable to update projects and resolve issues.
• Maintain an active list of sites with Cost Centers, Profit Centers, contract end dates, and DOAs for EGC region.
• SAP Power User for Project Systems.
• Designate new worker SAP roles.
• Support users with complex questions and issues that may arise.
• Provide training to new and existing resources within the group.
• Works professionally and harmoniously with coworkers and management.
• Applies positive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts.
• Accepts direction and supervision.
• Remains calm in demanding situations.
• Promotes a teamwork philosophy.
• Completes tasks timely.
• Demonstrates efficiency and reliability across all document categories.
• Able to achieve State mandated certifications (TWIC, OSHA) and other requirements.
• Pass Criminal background investigation and drug/alcohol testing.
