Job summary

Makino, Inc in Mason, OH, is seeking an Order Initiation Specialist responsible for reviewing incoming orders, obtaining approvals, and setting up SAP project structures, budgets and plans. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the corporate office.

You will manage new machine orders, ensure complete paperwork, coordinate with sales and accounting, and maintain PV1 budgets and SAP project builds. Experience with SAP Project System, Excel and SharePoint is essential.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of the SAP project structure and SAP reporting/navigation.
• Proficiency with Excel for budgeting and data handling.
• Ability to navigate and structure SharePoint for project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review new machine order paperwork to ensure information is complete and accurate.
• Obtain sales and credit approvals for each order.
• Set up SAP project builds and budgets for turnkey/integration orders.
• Enter budgets in SAP from PV1 tool and plan revenue/costs.
• Manage change orders, update PV1, SAP builds and budgets, and coordinate with accounting.
