Job summary

CompQsoft, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Developer – Mid in Herndon, VA with a hybrid work arrangement. The role requires a background in Agile software development and 2+ years delivering enterprise Salesforce projects, including Visualforce, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and AppExchange integrations.

An active Secret clearance (or higher) is required or the ability to obtain one. You will design, develop, and govern Salesforce solutions, work with stakeholders to architect modern CRM capabilities, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience or Master’s Degree with 3 years’ experience.
At least 3 years’ experience in Agile software development lifecycle.
At least 2 years’ experience in enterprise Salesforce projects.
Fluent in performing code merges of Salesforce git repositories.
Experience deploying to sandboxes and test environments.
Experience with Visualforce, Apex, SOQL and SOSL.
Proficiency with Data Loader, Workbench, Salesforce Platform IDE, and third‑party integrations.
Active Secret (or higher) clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Perform app development, prototyping, testing and demonstrations to users.
Merge code, resolve conflicts, deploy to sandboxes and test environments, and assist in higher environment deployments.
Build custom apps using declarative capabilities like flows and App Builder.
Design solutions and roadmaps for service modernization on Salesforce Platform.
Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and customers to architect Salesforce solutions.
Design and develop business functionalities with Salesforce CRM/CX technologies.
Map capabilities and conduct fit-gap analyses against Salesforce offerings.
Document and govern Salesforce solutions across lifecycles, including security/compliance considerations.
Coordinate with systems architects to address security/compliance requirements for sandboxes and development environments.
Develop interfaces/APIs and integrations from Salesforce to external systems.
Ensure testing, performance and security requirements are met by the development teams.
