Job summary

Actalent seeks a hybrid Sales Engineer / Energy Manager to focus on building optimization and energy management. You will analyze building systems and operational data to identify efficiency opportunities, coach clients on data-driven decisions, and support implementation of optimization strategies to reduce costs.

The role is based in Olathe, KS, with an initial on-site focus and growing remote flexibility as you learn the systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–10 years in facilities management, building operations, engineering, or data analytics.
• Strong ability to read and interpret graphs, dashboards, and building system data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze energy and operational data to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving measures.
• Coach clients on data-driven decisions to reduce operating expenses.
• Build reports and visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with facilities staff and contractors to implement optimization strategies.
• Communicate the value of optimization services to clients.
