Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking Sales Designers who can bring both style and functionality to our clients’ homes. You’ll visit clients’ homes, assess space, and design custom storage solutions that are both beautiful and practical, turning a client’s vision into reality.

This position offers flexible compensation options, including paid-per-appointment plus commission or higher-rate commission-only. Pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients are provided—no cold calling required.

Qualifications

• No degree, certification, or prior sales experience required.
• Must be coachable and eager to learn.
• Growth mindset with willingness to complete a 12 week sales training.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Willing to travel up to two hours to serve customers throughout our territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients’ homes to assess space and create storage designs.
• Design custom storage solutions that are both beautiful and practical.
• Walk through the home to identify opportunities and present creative options.
• Use design skills and products to meet client needs and close sales.
• Follow sales training and apply communication skills to help clients reach their dream home.
