Job summary

Mercer, a Marsh business, is seeking a Sales Consultant for the Career Products team. The role can be based in Houston or Dallas and offers a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of three days in the office.

You will work with senior sales professionals to drive growth targets across an assigned territory, handling prospecting, proposals, and quotes, while becoming a subject matter expert on Mercer offerings and tools to lead system demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or sales operations within a corporate/ professional services setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build credibility across levels.
• Excellent organization, time management, execution, and tracking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day sales activities to achieve growth targets for the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the Career Products Sales Team on prospecting, quotes, proposals, and contracts.
• Lead product demonstrations and develop expansion ideas for larger clients in coordination with senior sales professionals.
