Job summary

McCain Foods seeks a Sales Analyst to manage and interpret diverse data sources, delivering channel and customer intelligence to drive growth. You will collaborate with Sales teams and BDMs to optimize reports, lead data interpretation, and develop recurring insights that improve decision-making and efficiency.

You will support item planning, launch tracking, and performance reviews using Circana, Power BI, and customer databases, presenting findings clearly to influence strategic actions.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• Prior experience in data analytics, sales analytics, business intelligence, category management, commercial analytics, or a related field.
• Food industry experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working with syndicated data sources such as Circana and customer data platforms.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence through analytics and insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Teams and Business Development Managers to optimize and continuously improve reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Partner with Channel stakeholders to establish meaningful reporting and dashboard solutions aligned to business priorities.
• Lead the analysis and interpretation of McCain and customer data to improve decision-making effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports and insights that support channel and customer performance management.
• Integrate multiple data sources and leverage insights to provide a holistic view of business performance, trends, and opportunities.
• Identify patterns, trends, and root causes of underperformance, including the impact of competitive activity and external market factors.
• Analyze syndicated and customer data to uncover performance drivers and recommend actions that can be scaled across customers and channels.
• Serve as a trusted business partner to Channel Teams by identifying growth opportunities and performance gaps.
• Support new item planning, launch execution, and performance tracking through Circana, Power BI, and customer database platforms.
• Present data and insights in a clear, accessible, and compelling manner to support strategic decision-making and organizational alignment.
