Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to design and analyze transportation projects under senior engineers. You will help advance design development, ensure code compliance, and take ownership of assigned tasks as your judgment grows.

You will work in a hybrid environment between office and field, with potential exposure to varied weather and site conditions. A PE license and TxDOT project experience strengthen candidacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 5–10+ years transportation engineering experience, preferably TxDOT projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in Microstation ORD, AutoCad and Civil3D required.
• Hybrid work setup; office and field environment; may face outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and reports for roadway/multimodal projects.
• Apply design standards and codes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and reviewing agencies.
• Perform design analyses, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs.
• Assist in QA reviews and respond to design review comments.
