Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to support General Medicine and Geriatrics. The hybrid role covers in-clinic and remote work, focusing on triage, care coordination, and patient education for geriatric patients.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN licensure in MO and/or IL per location and Compact Act.
Basic Life Support certification required; Online BLS without skills assessment not sufficient.

Responsibilities

Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
Provide direct patient care, medications, procedures and status monitoring as per practice.
Counsel patients/families on disease, symptoms and management.
Maintain timely and accurate medical records.
Collaborate with health team to adjust care for optimal outcomes.
Assist providers with exams, refills and direct care tasks.
Maintain skills, participate in education, CPR training and meetings.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
