Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Risk Management Staff Attorney to join our Seattle, WA office. You will support the Risk Management Corporate Counsel team and Director of Risk Management on contractual, regulatory, licensing, governance, acquisition, and risk-related matters across multiple jurisdictions.

This role offers growth opportunities and requires analyzing federal and state laws, drafting memoranda, and negotiating complex contracts with significant operational impact.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one state.
• 2–5 years of experience in private practice, in-house, or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Negotiate Design Build and Progressive Design Build contracts with oversight from senior leadership.
• Research and review laws and updates in design-build contracting and industry practices.
• Support corporate governance and licensing compliance across entities and jurisdictions.
• Research state and federal licensing requirements for engineering, architecture and related professions.
• Assist with acquisitions planning and post-acquisition integration considerations.
• Draft memoranda and provide risk analysis on enterprise risks as requested.
