Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a collaborative leader to own and scale provider education for risk adjustment, HEDIS, and documentation quality.

The Manager, Risk & HEDIS Education will partner with Risk Adjustment, Quality, and Clinical Operations to design standardized education programs that help providers document accurately and stay audit-ready. Travel and onsite collaboration may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, health information management, healthcare management, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience or certification in risk adjustment, medical coding, clinical documentation improvement, provider education, auditing, quality improvement, or related healthcare disciplines.
• Active CRC or CPC certification.
• Experience delivering education, coaching, and training to physicians and clinical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage risk adjustment methodologies, HCC models, CMS regulations, and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Knowledge of HEDIS, Stars, quality programs, and healthcare analytics.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.
• Internet connectivity requirement and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of provider education on risk adjustment, ICD-10-CM coding, HEDIS measures, and documentation practices.
• Set goals and timelines for education initiatives aligned to priorities and standards.
• Serve as subject matter resource on documentation requirements, coding guidelines, audit readiness, and value-based care expectations.
• Conduct documentation and coding reviews to identify trends and educational needs.
• Develop standardized materials, playbooks, and curricula for onboarding and scalable adoption.
• Provide coaching and feedback to providers based on audit findings and quality opportunities.
• Collaborate with Risk Adjustment, Quality, Clinical Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Coding leadership to ensure consistency.
• Monitor trends and develop reporting to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support workflow and technology optimization to embed documentation requirements into provider workflows.
• Meet with stakeholders; travel may be required for in-person engagements.
