Job summary

Ally Financial in Charlotte or Detroit is seeking an auditor to join Audit Services on a hybrid schedule. You’ll work in-office a few days per week with some remote work, developing, completing, and documenting audit tests in accordance with our policies.

You’ll use data literacy and analytics to advise management on emerging control practices, communicate proactively, and help mitigate customer-service issues. A 2+ year audit/financial services background and a 4-year degree are desired.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in audit or financial services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications (CIA, CPA, CISA, CAMS, CFE) are a plus.
• Experience with data analytics and CAATs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform individual audits in collaboration with management.
• Develop and document audit tests per policies and procedures.
• Provide data-driven insights to management to improve controls.
• Communicate proactively to align on risk and issues.
