Job summary

Osaic is seeking a Risk Analyst I to assist in building and executing the risk management program. You will complete projects with guidance from a supervisor to document key risks, controls, risk frameworks, and reporting to senior leadership.

The role involves meeting with business leaders, learning processes, documenting them accurately, and identifying risks, controls, and data patterns. You will report to the VP of Enterprise Risk and contribute to a robust risk program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field required. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Certifications: SQL, Power BI, or other similar certifications in the area of analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn business processes of units under review and provide guidance on identified risks and designs of controls. Provide guidance on the Three Lines of Defense risk control framework.
• Produce process flow maps showing key decision points, ownership, and relevant risks and controls.
• Meet with business managers, ask questions, listen, and analyze discussions to produce meaningful insights and accurate documentation.
• Assess data to determine control effectiveness, trends, and red flag events.
• Create monthly metric reporting for specific risk programs and tell the story to managers and senior leaders.
• Review applicable regulations and supervisory procedures to ensure regulatory requirements and business risks are addressed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
