Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Revit Specialist to produce accurate architectural and low voltage drawings using Autodesk Revit. The role requires coordination with architects and design teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of drafting experience, strong Revit expertise, and familiarity with Blue Beam Revu and AutoCAD. This is a hybrid, full-time position in Naperville, IL with benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate/diploma in Computer Aided Drafting or commensurate experience in Revit drafting
• Two years full-time drafting experience in a professional environment
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit MEP or Revit Architecture
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus
• Familiarity with architectural drafting standards and Blue Beam Revu
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic file management

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality project documentation using Autodesk Revit
• Follow drafting and design standards; suggest improvements where applicable
• Assist in final assembly and submission of drawing sets
• Coordinate with Architects and design team to meet deadlines
• Manage priorities across project leaders and workflows
• Work independently or with project managers and clients
• Stay current with CAD/BIM technologies and guidelines
