Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians is recruiting a Respiratory Care Coordinator (RRT) for Indiana practices. The role collaborates with care managers, providers, and ambulatory teams to educate and manage respiratory disease in patients.

The coordinator administers respiratory medications in an ambulatory setting and supports care planning, scheduling, and advocacy across telephonic and in-person visits. A strong COPD background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Active Indiana license at hire; must obtain Ohio/KY within 3 months.
• 2–3 years as an RRT with COPD knowledge and current treatments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn new technologies and workflows.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Must be able to travel between office sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic respiratory care.
• Assist providers in evaluating patients’ respiratory needs and optimize services.
• Educate patients and caregiver teams about respiratory disease as needed.
• Coordinate with inpatient Respiratory Therapy for smooth transitions to home.
• Coordinate care with SEP Practice Managers and Operations to implement procedures.
• Provide staff training related to COPD and respiratory care.
