TRU Builders is seeking a Business Development Specialist to cultivate relationships with architects, interior designers, Realtors, developers, and homeowners while guiding clients through the early stages of their building journey.

The role involves networking, attending events, and coordinating with Preconstruction and Production teams to ensure a seamless client experience in a hybrid Surprise, AZ setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, consultative sales, or client development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience using CRM software to manage leads and customer relationships.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, Realtors, developers, and other referral partners.
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and community activities to grow TRU Builders' presence.
• Identify and develop new opportunities for custom homes, remodels, and residential additions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients during the initial sales process.
• Coordinate with the Preconstruction and Production teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Manage leads, follow-ups, and opportunities using the company CRM.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, referrals, and sales activity.
• Support local marketing initiatives and identify opportunities to expand into new markets.
• Represent TRU Builders professionally while building long-term relationships within the community.
