The Opportunity for Health Lab at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, seeks a Manager, Research Project C to lead operations for a Lilly Research study and the WORKS initiative. You will coordinate budgets, staffing, timelines, and regulatory compliance as the primary operational point of contact for the industry partner.

The role requires a Master’s in public health and 5–7 years of related experience, with strong skills in project management, budgeting, and staff

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health or related field with 5–7 years of experience.
• Experience managing multi-year studies, budgets, staffing, and IRB compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with sponsors and partners.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational oversight of studies in the lab portfolio.
• Oversee day-to-day research operations, timelines, and resources; build dashboards and SOPs.
• Manage pre- and post-award budgets; ensure sponsor and university compliance.
• Supervise and mentor research staff; lead hiring and onboarding.
• Lead grant planning and submissions; manage regulatory planning including IRB.
• Support strategic planning, partnership development, reporting, and communications.
