Job summary

The University of Chicago, a leading research university, seeks a Research Professional to support the EPIC PREP program within the IC SG. The role involves data collection and cleaning, developing data scripts, running analyses, and aiding in manuscript preparation.

Reporting to EPIC-affiliated faculty across the Booth School of Business, Economics, Public Policy, or Law, you will help design surveys, support grant reporting, and maintain data quality for studies in energy and climate research.

Qualifications

• Minimum: college/university degree in a related field.
• Experience with econometrics and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and analyzes data.
• Writes or finalizes replicable data files or scripts for publication.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
• Assists with writing data analysis plans and study registrations.
• Supports field experiments including survey design and data quality control.
• Assists with drafting grant and policy reports and presentations.
• Transcribes and codes data; develops data collection instruments; recruits and schedules research subjects.
• Maintains recruiting and scheduling of research subjects; assists with study protocols and databases.
