University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Research Nurse in the Internal Medicine - Outpatient setting, based in Texas Medical Center. The role coordinates clinical research protocols and delivers patient care while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have clinical research, regulatory, and data management experience, comfortable with rotating departments and working with multiple Principal Investigators.

Qualifications

• RN with Texas license and BLS/CPR required.
• Minimum: 1 year registered nurse experience.
• BSN preferred to support clinical research activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned clinical research protocols from activation to closure.
• Screen and enroll participants and ensure protocol eligibility.
• Educate participants on study requirements, risks, and follow-up.
• Maintain source documentation and data in electronic systems.
• Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and departments to ensure compliance.
