Job summary

The University of Minnesota Epilepsy Institute in the Department of Neurology seeks a Non-Registered Research EEG Technologist to support clinical research protocols and neurodiagnostic studies. This 3-year position involves EEG monitoring, electrode setup, data collection, and collaboration with Registered EEG Technologists in our epilepsy program.

Location: Minneapolis/St. Louis Park, MN with some remote work.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Neuroscience, Biology, Health Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication.
• High attention to detail.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Willingness to complete internal EEG training and pursue certification (e.g., R. EEG T).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform clinical research EEG studies including participant setup and data management.
• Support EEG-related research activities across the Department of Neurology.
• Perform sleep staging on research EEG recordings after training.

Education

BA/BS in Neuroscience/ Biology/ Health Sciences

Excellent interpersonal communication

BLS/CPR Certification
