Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered EEG technologist with required credentials or eligibility
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and healthcare team
• Must meet primary source verification requirements for EEG credentials

Responsibilities

• Perform routine EEGs, LTMs, and advanced testing per program guidelines
• Place and secure electrodes using the 10-20 system and acquire satisfactory EEG recordings
• Evaluate ictal, interictal, and paroxysmal events from EEG/video data and document findings
• Assist with ECOG, ictal-SPECT, PET, WADA, language and motor mapping under supervision
• Participate in EEG rounds and reviews; train staff and students as needed
• Adhere to seizure action plans and hospital protocols for critical results
