The role focuses on coordinating CABBI research themes, supporting communication among scientists, and assisting with proposal development.

Responsibilities include facilitating collaboration, preparing technical reports and IP filings, and monitoring progress toward research objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, or engineering disciplines; alternative fields considered based on experience.
• Two years of project management experience in academic or private research settings.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication among CABBI scientists and stakeholders across disciplines.
• Support preparation of technical reports, presentations, and IP filings.
• Monitor progress toward CABBI objectives and advise leadership on resource use.
• Support data-management practices to enable data integration across teams.
• Guide investigators on campus, sponsor, and government requirements; coordinate approvals.
• Coordinate regular meetings, disseminate notes, and track action items.
• Assist with developing interdisciplinary proposals and timelines; edit technical sections.
