Qualifications

• Four years of related experience, education/training, or a Bachelor's degree in related area.
• Acquiring knowledge of research function and ability to perform research analysis duties.
• Develop statistical analysis, systems programming, and database design skills for research analysis duties.
• Ability to manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion on deadline.
• Basic consultation and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate results to scientists and others; knowledge of data analysis pipelines to reduce error and support reproducible science.
• Experience with analysis software such as SAS, R, Stata, and JMP.
• Experience in basic research analysis protocol, results, and conclusion writeups.

Responsibilities

• Maintain databases, conduct data entry and verification.
• Clean datasets and assist with data organization and documentation.
• Prepare standard reports, tables, charts, and graphs using SAS, R, Stata, or JMP.
• Assist with quality control reviews and creation of basic calculated variables.
• Conduct literature searches and summarize findings for research staff.
• Prepare research materials and study documentation; support presentation of results.
• Provide routine assistance to faculty, staff, students, and trainees.
