Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking a Research Coordinator in the Berkley School of Nursing to work under the direction of a Principal Investigator’s research program focused on improving memory and brain function in older adults with kidney disease after a 6-month walking program. You will assist with recruitment, data collection, manuscript preparation, and coordination across sites, under PI supervision.

Hybrid work mode is designated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• Two years of related experience.
• Degree in psychology, pre-med, public health, nursing or related field will be given strong consideration.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Prior research experience in exercise training, neurocognitive assessment, mild cognitive impairment, and chronic kidney disease is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with recruitment and clinic interaction.
• Assisting with data collection, cleaning, and preparation.
• Support with manuscript preparation and submission, including conducting literature searches, manuscript writing and manuscript submissions.
• Assisting with administrative tasks as assigned.
• Attending all research related meetings.
• Working closely with sites and study personnel.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
