Georgetown University seeks a Research Coordinator in the Berkley School of Nursing to support a PI-led program focused on memory and brain function in older adults with kidney disease after a 6-month walking program. You will work under the PI and Project Director, engaging in recruitment, data handling, manuscript support, and coordination across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience; two years of related experience.
• Degree in psychology, pre-med, public health, nursing or related field will be given strong consideration.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (written & verbal) skills.
• Prior research experience in exercise training, neurocognitive assessment, mild cognitive impairment, and chronic kidney disease is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with recruitment and clinic interaction
• Assisting with data collection, cleaning, and preparation
• Support with manuscript preparation and submission, including literature searches, manuscript writing and manuscript submissions
• Assisting with administrative tasks as assigned
• Attending all research related meetings
• Working closely with sites and study personnel
• Performing other duties as assigned
