Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart in Omaha is seeking a Replenishment Planner to execute the merchandise inventory strategy across assigned categories, managing inventory flow and providing forward visibility to minimize stock-outs and inventory surprises.

The role requires coordinating with vendors and internal partners, setting lead times and stock rules, and using data-driven analysis to maintain optimal stock levels and support promotional plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, management, or related field.
• 1 year re-buying experience and/or inventory analysis.
• Experience with retail buying, marketing or supply chain preferred.
• Experience with Demand Planning or Supply Planning using Blue Yonder software.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and early morning hours as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Pre-employment screening includes background check.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain lead times, safety stock, and network rules.
• Review stock levels and analyze inventory to explain overages/unders.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to support promotions and inventory flow.
• Develop reports and attributes, incorporating trends and seasonality.
• Resolve issues and communicate solutions to management.
