Job summary

Ascension Publishing Group is seeking an Amazon Inventory Planner to manage inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment for Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts. You will work with the Business Operations Specialist and Inventory team to optimize stock levels, analyze trends, and execute inventory strategies that maximize sales and profitability.

The role requires strong forecasting, data analysis, and Excel proficiency, with experience in FBA/Vendor Central and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, operations, or Amazon marketplace environments.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
• Experience with inventory forecasting and replenishment planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, with the ability to review large datasets and reports.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Manage daily inventory operations across Amazon Seller Central (FBA and FBM) and Vendor Central accounts by monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability and prevent stockouts, overstocks, and stranded inventory.
• Forecasting & Planning: Analyze historical sales data, seasonality, promotional calendars, and market trends alongside the Business Operations Specialist to forecast product demand.
• Amazon Account Management: Monitor the overall health of Amazon inventory by reviewing key performance metrics, including IPI, excess and aged inventory, sell-through and in-stock rates, and restock limits.
