Job summary

TotalEnergies is seeking a Project Development Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy projects in a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. You will drive development strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and engage with stakeholders to align with portfolio objectives.

The role requires 3–6+ years in renewables, a relevant bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel 20–30% to ensure timely, within-budget project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Planning, Economics, Geography, Public Policy, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Typically 3-6+ years of renewable energy project development or related experience.
• Experience with permitting, interconnection, environmental diligence, land acquisition, community engagement, or other development disciplines.
• Experience leading consultant and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned utility-scale renewable energy or co-located projects through all phases of development; act as primary development lead across technical, permitting, environmental, interconnection, real estate, and stakeholder functions.
• Manage land acquisition strategy and land agent activities to support project development and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate permitting, environmental, and community engagement activities with internal and external subject matter experts.
• Coordinate interconnection, engineering, and technical development activities; monitor study milestones and risk mitigation.
• Manage project budgets and development expenditures; support commercial negotiations and tax incentives.
• Select and direct consultants; coordinate relationships with landowners, regulators, and community stakeholders; represent projects externally.
