Job summary

Constellation Energy Corporation is seeking motivated engineering students for Renewable Energy Internships in Houston, TX. The 10-week paid program starts June 7, 2027 and ends August 13, 2027, offering hands-on projects with a supervisor and technical mentor.

You will support Energy Storage and Renewables engineering efforts, develop databases, and build a local web app for performance analytics of battery projects. Prior internship experience in renewables is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Junior standing preferred.
• Strong interest in renewables and energy storage.
• Working experience in Python, including data analysis tools such as pandas, matplotlib, or numpy.
• Demonstrable experience in developing software projects with AI.
• High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
• Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Create product, technical, and operational databases for accurate information retrieval.
• Develop a local web application for performance analysis of operational battery projects.
• Follow software development best practices such as version control, encryption, & authentication.
• Support Renewables team with special tasks as priorities and projects arise.
