Job summary

Constellation Energy Corporation is seeking motivated engineering students for Renewable Energy Internships in Houston, TX. The 10-week paid program starts June 7, 2027 and ends August 13, 2027, offering hands-on projects with a supervisor and technical mentor.

You will support Energy Storage and Renewables engineering efforts, develop databases, and build a local web app for performance analytics of battery projects. Prior internship experience in renewables is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Junior standing preferred.
• Strong interest in renewables and energy storage.
• Working experience in Python, including data analysis tools such as pandas, matplotlib, or numpy.
• Demonstrable experience in developing software projects with AI.
• High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
• Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task.

We are currently seeking highly motivated engineering students for Renewable Energy Internships for 2027 to work hybrid at our location in Houston, TX - Houston Office. These paid internships will last approximately 10 weeks starting June 7th, 2027 through August 13th, 2027. Interns will work on specific projects, designed to help them gain real-world, hands‑on experience working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor.

Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following; other duties may be assigned)

Support the Energy Storage and Renewables teams on special projects related to the development engineering, construction, and performance analytics of Constellation’s energy storage projects.
