Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, is expanding our Compliance team with nationwide consideration for an Underwriting Audit Specialist. The role involves performing property and casualty policy audits to ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance, with collaboration across underwriting management.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of underwriting experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underwriting experience with a commercial insurance carrier.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations regarding insurance.
• Ability to gather and interpret information to develop, recommend and implement solutions.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform property and casualty policy audits to ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Audit new and renewal policies for risk selection, rating accuracy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Compile and distribute audit results and review with Underwriting management.
• Analyze data to identify causes and develop action plans for the business unit.
• Collaborate with Underwriting management to implement recommendations and revisions to guidelines/processes.
• Develop training materials and conduct training.
