Blue Cross NC in Durham, NC is seeking a senior business/functional analyst responsible for eliciting, prioritizing, and translating business requirements into system requirements. You will develop functional designs for new or enhanced systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure traceability from requirements to deployment.

The role requires 5+ years in a related field (or 7+ years with no degree) and offers a hybrid-flex work model with competitive pay.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze complex business needs, system requirements, data challenges, and end-to-end business and technical workflows.
• Evaluate and prioritize business and functional requirements, identifying underlying business needs and translating them into clear system-level solutions.
• Develop functional designs and specifications for new, customized, or enhanced systems, including application interfaces and workflows.
• Identify system impacts, gaps, risks, dependencies, and operational considerations associated with proposed solutions.
• Partner with business analysts, developers, designers, subject matter experts, and other technical teams to define solutions and evaluate technical tradeoffs.
• Recommend system changes, enhancements, or retirements based on business requirements and existing system functionality.
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through design, development, and implementation to ensure solutions meet intended business objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members and coordinate work across larger or more complex initiatives.
