Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Business System Analyst to define, evaluate, and validate requirements and designs for moderately complex business issues within their domain. You will liaison between business processes and IT to develop practical technical solutions while supporting problem resolution, testing, and upgrades.

You’ll work on system support, configuration, and project collaboration, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical knowledge and support in operational system/application issues to business and IT.
• Assist in testing, software upgrades and related IT projects.
• Coordinate testing plans with Business area and IT; document and execute test plans occasionally.
• Analyze and verify testing results for accuracy and usefulness.
• Assist IT with hardware and software upgrades and security changes.
