Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategy role to lead analytics and strategy for the Risk Adjustment Accuracy Management (RAAM) department.

You will analyze business issues, design analytics, and develop formal recommendations for senior leadership to inform strategic decisions. The position supports a hybrid or remote work arrangement; onsite is required 3 days a week (T, W, TH) if you live within 50 miles of an office.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics or related field required.
• 6+ years of related experience in business or healthcare strategy roles.
• 2 years post-grad experience with strategy/management consulting firms or internal strategy groups.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant strategic experience can substitute for Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Identify key business issues with owners, apply analytical frameworks, and develop solutions and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Lead delivery of evolving risk adjustment initiatives aligned with RAAM’s strategic plan.
• Manage major strategy projects with internal or external strategy resources.
• Serve as SME to Strategic Operations on risk adjustment programs for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and ACA lines.
• Provide informal guidance to junior team members and support development/training plans.
• Develop analytical frameworks and best practices to analyze strategic issues.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
