Mutual of America Financial Group in Atlanta, GA (hybrid) or Jacksonville, FL (Remote) seeks a Retirement Plan Specialist to drive new group takeover opportunities and cross-sell retirement products. You will build appointments with plan sponsors and cultivate prospects across a defined territory.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of outside business-to-business sales experience with proven efficiency in selling, presenting, prospecting, and territory management.
• Driven to make outbound cold calls into prospective clients
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Strategic thinker who can work independently
• Strong relationship management skills
• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE or must be obtained within first 180 days
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Setting qualified appointments with Plan Sponsors of 401k and 403b plans through multiple strategies, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Work within a geographic territory to cultivate new prospects, cross-sell solutions, reach and exceed goals by closing deals.
• Attend client review meetings with Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) for the top five to ten clients in the Retirement Plan Specialist territory to position the Retirement Plan Specialist to ask clients for introductions and to be a reference for sales opportunities.
