Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Mid-Level React UI Developer to contribute to a browser-based application interfacing with backend microservice APIs. The role collaborates with a Lead Architect and agile teams across the full software life cycle.

This hybrid-remote position requires 2 on-site days per week in Ashburn, VA (Thursdays and Fridays). Target salary range reflects market norms for the role and location.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5+ years in software development.
• 5+ years React development experience.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, MVC/MVVM patterns, JSON, HTML5, CSS/SCSS.
• Experience with Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library.
• Strong browser debugging using Chrome DevTools.
• Experience interfacing with backend APIs.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to solve software problems.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, unit test UI interfaces using React.
• Use Integrated Development Environment Tools such as Visual Studio Code.
• Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand requirements, then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations.
• Provide application support during testing and production phase and work with the lead to deploy code fixes as needed.
