Job summary

Moran & Associates Insurance Staffing is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to oversee auto, homeowners, renters, and related policies. You will deliver proactive service, educate clients on coverage options, and manage renewals in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

With 2+ years in personal lines, you will collaborate with carriers and colleagues to ensure accurate policies and excellent client outcomes in a hybrid work setting in Quincy, MA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• State license (Property & Casualty) required or to be obtained within the specified period.
• 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance or related field.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and MS Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of personal lines accounts (auto, homeowners, renters, etc.).
• Provide day-to-day client service, responding to inquiries with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately.
• Educate clients on coverage options and risk management best practices.
• Partner with carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Review policy documents for accuracy before delivery to clients.
• Maintain records in the agency management system.
• Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, carrier guidelines, and regulations.
• Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and team members to ensure client satisfaction.
