Job summary

Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine in Willoughby, OH seeks a full-time Master’s level PHP or IOP Counselor to join a multidisciplinary team providing clinical services in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and discharge planning.

The role requires a MSW or Master’s in Counseling and Ohio licensure eligibility (LSW/LISW, LPC, or LPCC).

Qualifications

• MSW or Master's degree in Counseling from an accredited college or university
• Ohio licensure eligibility: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC
• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health or substance abuse settings with group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial, mental health, and substance use assessments
• Develop, implement, monitor, and revise individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate psychoeducational, process, and skills-based group therapy sessions
• Provide individual, family, and supportive counseling
• Conduct crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk assessments
• Coordinate care with physicians, referral sources, insurance providers, and families
• Develop discharge plans and ensure continuity of care
• Complete clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
