Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Designer to join the ICE team in Michigan to improve infrastructure. Candidates must have a high school diploma and 2+ years drafting in natural gas. AutoCAD 3D experience is required; CadWorx/Autodesk Plant 3D are a plus.

A flexible hybrid-remote schedule is available after 30 days of employment. Responsibilities include design of gas distribution systems, permit coordination, engineering calculations, and supporting project managers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years drafting in natural gas distribution systems/design.
• Excellent technical writing, organization and communication.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD 3D is required.
• Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, analyze, organize, execute and coordinate new design projects and revisions.
• Complete permit applications and coordinate with agencies until permits are obtained.
• Apply engineering principles while performing design work.
• Design detailed gas distribution systems.
• Design high pressure steel and plastic mains and services.
• Perform design calculations and provide details as needed.
• Document design changes and communications.
