Job summary

Wade Trim seeks a Designer to join the ICE team in Michigan to improve infrastructure. Candidates need a high school diploma and 2+ years in natural gas distribution design, with AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required. Familiarity with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus. A flexible hybrid-remote schedule is available after 30 days.

The role will involve coordinating projects, permit work, and design of gas mains and services while maintaining client relations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required.
• Design experience in regulator stations, high pressure mains and services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, analyze, and coordinate design projects of varying complexity.
• Complete permit applications and coordinate with agencies until permits are obtained.
• Apply engineering principles to design work and perform design calculations.
• Design detailed gas distribution systems and high/medium pressure mains.
• Document design changes and communications; save project data daily/weekly.
• Assist Project Managers and attend client/staff meetings.
