Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Designer to join the ICE team in Michigan to improve infrastructure. Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years drafting experience in natural gas, with strong AutoCAD 3D skills. Familiarity with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus.

A flexible hybrid-remote schedule is available after 30 days. Preferred candidates hold a Civil/Environmental bachelor’s degree and have excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of drafting experience in natural gas infrastructure.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required.
• Knowledge of gas main and service design regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, analyze, organize, and coordinate new designs and revisions.
• Prepare permit applications and coordinate with agencies.
• Design gas distribution systems and high‑pressure lines.
• Perform design calculations and provide details as needed.
• Document design changes and communicate with project teams.
• Attend client and project meetings and support proposals.
